Saturday's Meeting (21 of Feb 2009)

The Duty Patrol for this week will be KingFisher Patrol.

For those who have not collected the consent forms for the following events,

1) Newater Collection
2) District Field Day and Campfire

Please get the consent forms tomorow outside the Scout Den, around 12.45pm.

Please constantly check up on the White Stag blog to get the latest information

For your information, C'est la Vie Help-Out will be on next thursday, Friday AND SATURDAY!
So please take note and spread if possible.

Lastly, please be at your tip-top performance and attire during the Founders Day and Thinking Day Parade.

Dearest and Greetings,

A thing that I have shared with our PLC, which I find it meaningful and would like to share with my fellow brothers.

The future depends on what we do in the present.

Gentleman, please think deep about the above phrase and probably you may want to share your views and your thoughts with your fellow brothers. I am open to discussions as well.

Meeting (21 of Feb 2009)

Dear White Stags,

meeting will be cancelled as the unit is going to participate in the District Field Day and Campfire 2009!! YIPPEE!

Those who have not collected their consent forms, please approach your Patrol Leaders and submit the forms by Thursday (19 of Feb 2009) latest!

For sneak previews, refer to the previous post. There is an attached E-Flyer for the event that day.

Training

Those who are taking the World Scout Badge test, the written test will be given during the District Field Day, itself. The passing mark is 80% of the entire MCQ paper. Do revise whatever PL Bernard and PL Nick taught you!

Those who are taking the Knowledge of the Scout Movement for the Advance Scout Standard and First Class Scout Standard, the dateline of the report is on the 28th of Feb 2009.

For those who didn't turn up for Saturday's meeting, please inform your Patrol Leaders, so as to keep up with the training.

Patrol Leaders, do remember to collect the reports by then and submit to me! Failure to submit, will result in a delay in your achievement in the Standards or even obtaining them this year.

Activity for the Week

Founder's Day Parade is on this coming Friday (20th of Feb 2009).

Patrol Leaders are to organise the contingent and be reminded of a combine rehearsal with the Girl Guide on the 18th of Feb 2009 (Wed) at 3:45pm.

Please be reminded to be present on the 17th of Feb 2009 (Tues), after school, at the Scout Den for rehearsal.

Meeting (14 of Feb 2009)

meeting is still on-going and training begins for your standards, so do turn up to participate in the activities.

Duty Patrol: Eagle

Time: 0900 hrs - 1300 hrs
Venue: Scout Den
Attire: Full uniform + P.T. Kit

Please bring along your own stationary and logbooks for training.

0920 hrs - Tenderfoot to undergo World Scout Badge training, others to continue their own Scouting Knowledge of their respective standard
1140 hrs - PIC
1200 hrs - Flag Lowering
1220 hrs - PLC
1300 hrs - Home Sweet Home

Details of Training

PL Nick and PL Bernard to train the Tenderfoot on the World Scout Badge

Advance Standard to train on Scouting Knowledge (Singapore Scouting)

First Class Standard to train on Scouting Knowledge (International Scouting)

Due date of report submission for both the Advance Standard and First Class Standard is by the 28th of Feb 2009. Patrol Leaders, do take note and monitor training.

Activity of the month

There will be a District Field Day and Campfire on the 21st of Feb 2009. Meeting will be cancelled as the whole unit will be participating in the event. Here's a sneak peek of what is expected of it.
