Hey White Stags,

No CCA at the moment, due to the H1N1 virus going around, however, do continue to self-learn and do up your logbook, as the Leaders will be asking you guys to submit your logbook for marking soon.

Something interesting happened during the June Holidays, on the 12th of June 2009. Project Lady Star took off, for the first time, whereby a team of White Stag scout, venture, rover and leader members assisted a before and after school care centre, to do an excursion for a group of primary school students.

These students have no scouting background or experience outdoor activities too, however thanks to the volunteer members of Project Lady Star, the kids enjoyed themselves and I believed know more about scouting.

Here are the members involved in the project:

1. Humming Bee
2. Roving Ferret
3. Cheerful Panda
4. Jordan
5. Annamalai
6. Bernard
7. Nick
8. Nowell
9. Daniel
10. Zesty Seal
11. Tamarin
12. Staunch Otter
13. Leaping Jackal
14. Affable Mantis

I do not have the photos yet to display... however should you be interested to find out what they have done... do talk to these people and allow them to share their experience with you.

Happy Scouting... and I would like to hear more interesting scouting experiences that each patrol has done throughout this period.
