Dear White Stag,

Some updates for the different sections, as I am trying to re-adjust the blogspot page to include all sections in it. Anyone with the expertise and ideas do feel free to contact me about it.

Campfire preparation

White Stag 56^th Anniversary Campfire: “Return of the Knight” is set on 3^rd of March 2012. This week (27^th Feb 2012 to 4^th of March 2012) will be the preparation week for all sections to help out to make it happen.

Organizing Chairman, Restless Orca, has set out the schedule as shown below for the week’s preparation.

27^th of Feb (Mon) – Souvenir making
28^th of Feb (Tue) – Making of Decoration and Final Skit rehearsal
29^th of Feb (Wed) – Making of Decoration
1^st of Mar (Thur) – Preparation for set up
2^nd of Mar (Fri) – Set up begins
3^rd of Mar (Sat) – Campfire Day
4^th of Mar (Sun) – Clean up

Please kindly organize and assist Restless Orca in this campfire.

Inter-district Photography and Videography Competition 2012

For all who are interested, the inter-district photography and videography competition 2012 circular has been sent out by the District.

Please submit the photos (1 per scout/ venture/ rover/ leader) by 2^nd March 2012.

Please submit the video (can be combine effort) by 9^th of March 2012.

I strongly encourage all to send in a photo and form a team for the video. See the circular attached.

Scout Section

Outdoor cooking training for this coming meeting has been shifted due to the preparation of the Campfire. More details about the next session will be known through your Patrol Leaders.

Venture Section

White Stag Job Week Collaboration Project is a ‘green light’ from Wombat. Please kindly contact Chinchilla with regards to the details for the project that you guys will be assisting the Cub Packs in the District Cluster.

Rover Section

White Stag Job Week Collaboration Project is a ‘green light’ from Wombat. Please kindly contact Raging Bat with regards to the details for the project that you guys will be assisting the Cub Packs in the District Cluster.

All regular meetings, please be reminded to be in Full-uniform (with beret and black shoes), unless told by the PLC. The necessary items to bring along are:

1) Logbook and Test Card
2) PT Kit
3) Water Bottle

All scouts are to see the calendar, under WSS, to see the programme for the meeting.

Venture Section –

All ventures are strongly encouraged to come down for the scout’s regular meeting in Full-uniform. Please inform AVSL Wombat of your participation as well as the teachers.
